Directions from Lees to our Oldham base
Lees keeps a village High Street feel with stone terraces, cottages and estates climbing toward Grotton and Springhead. Some approaches are steeper than central Oldham, so we check turning circles and safe waiting spots before the Luton arrives from Peveril Road. School-run peaks on Lees Road and Thomas Street can fill kerbs, and shared yards behind older rows often decide trolley distance more than the van’s mile count.
Share photos of stairs, cellar steps and any shared yards when you request a quote. Narrower landings are common in stone cottages, so listing oversized items early keeps the crew plan realistic. House removals Oldham covers full homes; man and van services Oldham suits lighter tenancies. Flat removals help with upper floors, and piano removals Oldham handle uprights when landings allow.
Add packing if you want crockery protected before a hillside carry. Routes often continue into Springhead or Waterhead. Our Oldham removals crew is based nearby on Peveril Road. Ask about storage services when completions do not match.
Oldham Council covers bins and Lees Library. Greater Manchester Police is the force for non-emergencies on 101. After you unpack, use NHS Find a GP with your new postcode. We confirm insurance cover at booking; we do not publish fixed prices online because volume, stairs and parking vary across OL4.
